Check Your NIN for FREE during NIN-SIM Card Linking Exercise (See How to Do It)

In adherence to the Federal Government of Nigeria directive that all network subscribers are to link their SIM cards to their individual NINs, it is imperative for all Nigerians to know or check their National Identification Number (NIN) on their mobile phone without stress.

In the light of this, many Nigerians have badly reacted to the charge of #20 per subscriber by our Network operators.

Consequently, the Federal Government has ordered the cancellation of #20 NIN retrieval charges for this period of NIN/SIM card integration exercise.

By this waiver, all Nigerians, subscribers and applicants can therefore access the service using the *346# USSD code for their NIN retrieval at no charge (i.e. for FREE) for the duration of two weeks.

How to Check Your NIN for FREE during NIN-SIM Card Linking Exercise

If you don't know your National Identification Number (NIN) don't be panic, kindly do these:

> Dial *346# to view your NIN at no cost or charge;

> Write or jot down your NIN in a sheet of paper so that you can easily link your NIN and SIM card.

Don't forget that this is free only during the duration of the NIN/SIM card integration exercise, as newly directed by the Federal Government through the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami.
